Thanksgiving Basket Outreach

Every year Living Faith comes together to collect and distribute Thanksgiving Blessing Baskets of food to families in need. A blessing basket provides a holiday meal to families that may not be able to afford one.

Help us be the hands and feet of Christ by signing up to bring 1 item or as many as the Lord puts on your heart. In these uncertain times where many people's love has grown cold, let's shine our lights into the community.

A few things to keep in mind:

• Once you have brought your items to the church please check off your items on the list at the church. This is how we your items are complete.
• Please don’t bring in perishable items too early. Place them in the fridge downstairs (carrots, celery, fresh pies).
• Frozen pies and butter should go into the freezer downstairs.
• Please return all items by Sunday, November 16th. 
• Items can be placed by the fireplace in the "Family Room".
• If you need to drop off items during the week, please call the church (401-739-2444) to make sure someone is there to receive the donated items.

Every family will be given a gift card to purchase their turkeys. If you choose to donate money instead of items, you can do so here - https://livingfaithri.churchcenter.com/giving/to/thanksgiving-baskets (We will use this money to the purchase gift cards.)

Recipients love getting extra goodies in their baskets. If there is something extra you would like to add (i.e. pasta, squash etc., or if you have any questions, text Liz at 401-829-1885.
